in 6000lb. units, inspected, inventoried and loaded into a
two-story tall custom, automated material handling system. From this centralized location, the material handling system, our ERP system and computer-aided scheduling system coordinates the automatic delivery of materials to Laser and Turret CNC equipment. Powerful “nesting” software arranges the workload strategically, taking both time and material utilization into account, which increases efficiency and capacity, while reducing waste.
For high-volume items, Midland Metal operates an automatic “coil line” that processes parts up to 75 tons at the rate of
2460 parts per hour.
Automated, CNC processing equipment is our primary fabrication configuration and method. Unlike competitors, Midland does not charge our customers for “nesting,” “programming,” or other costs associated with our
advanced machinery.
